Living. Learning. And then Being.
Pick any school of philosophy, any scientific approach, any spiritual dimension or metacognitive approach to making meaning of life. All of them will point to learning a lesson.
This entire cosmos, this world around us and the world that defines our paradigms is a spectacular stage and set-up for us to learn our lessons.
I mean, if we are so hot and bothered and flabbergasted by the wonders that AI can do for us, how have we missed to glorify and revere this Supreme Intelligence, which is the director, script writer and producer for the film that is our life.
What’s more? This Intelligence is operated and guided by not some extra terrestrial, invisible, no one “can see-hear-feel” being.
This Intelligence is operated and guided by someone we are all too familiar with. Someone we see too often and take for granted. Like we can’t see the eyes, we see with, we haven’t noticed that this Supreme Intelligence is us, it’s you and its me.
Yes, you’re a wizard ! No one told you, I know ! But you are !
Never made anything happen ? Think about the hardships you’ve had to face ? Think about the stress you’ve dealt with ?
Think about the sadness, the anger, the irritation, the pain?
Think about the pleasures you’ve experienced. Your favorite food ? Movie? Song? Your crush ? Your Love ?
If you’ve experienced pleasure, it means you have the magic to create it.
Yes, you directed it at something else, you attributed it to something else. But a true wizard can create magic without a wand. And you are a true wizard.
You’ve just been too dependent on the wand. Yes, you’ll find one that fits you perfectly. You’ll know if you wave it around.
But hey, without you, there is no magic in the wand.
Here is what I’m going to wield my magic for. Hopefully, you find your spell too.
- Enough Abundance. To live in and to give away.
- Mental, physical and emotional health. So I maybe able to offer it to those shrouded in dark clouds.
- Love and kindness. To soak in it and be fragrant enough for others to want to soak in it too.
- Vision and perception. To appreciate the magic in me. To recognize the divinity in others and help them see tbe magic in themselves.
- To have Aplomb. Like that in a tree, in a bee, in nature’s seasons. To apply it in life’s reasons.
- To laugh like a bubbling stream. To delight in simple dreams and to be content with sunlight’s every beam.
- Wisdom and skill. To design and architect the lessons, in my garden. Feeling the sting of the breeze, just enough to notice the drizzle, and serve tea before the rain fizzles.
- To have hope map my routes and faith receive me at every destination, so I may offer gratitude I picked on the way.
- Connections. To have, to hold. To care for, to be there for.
What are you wielding your magic for ?
